1200 Degrees Mixxbosses was founded by DJ D early 2009 although the history and concept of this show can be traced back almost a decade.
In early 2000 DJ D gave further purpose to her passion by taking her beats to a worldwide audience by establishing an online internet program called 1200 degrees. In 2003, 1200 degrees made its debut on community television, Channel 31 (Sydney). This is when the DJ D worldwide crew was formed - an amalgamation of dj's, artists, promotors, + industry peeps worldwide.
In 2008 DJ D became a representative for the Mixxbosses – a US based amalgamation of DJs, Artists, promoters, performers, working towards promoting the greater good of hip hop and rnb. DJ D would later become the president for the Australian arm the Mixxbosses.com/AU.
To support this online community DJ D relaunched the radio show now known as ‘1200 degrees Mixxbosses’ on Sydney local radio station 2RDJ with the show also streaming live online.
